Ergad Technology recently expanded its manufacturing presence by opening a new production area in Arad, Romania – an important step on its journey to expand and strengthen its industrial capacity.
This strategic investment looks to the future, and is geared towards sustainable growth, operational continuity between branches, and the establishment of an efficient, orderly, and high-quality working environment.
After the new 3,000 square metre addition, the total surface now reached 9,000 square metres, allowing for a thorough overhaul of the internal layout and a marked evolution in terms of organisation.
The new spaces were designed to optimise the production flow, simplify process management, and ensure greater operational efficiency. The entire environment is neat, modern and functional, and compliant with cleanliness, visual harmony and space usability standards.
Approximately 200 people work at this site, evenly distributed among the different units. Each workstation is designed to promote precision and productivity, in a context that values quality of work life and individual welfare.
All machinery and equipment installed are exactly the same as those used at the Italian site, ensuring uniform production processes and quality standards.
One of the aspects that makes this project so special is the way Ergad and Gread – two separate companies that have been sharing technology, know-how and production approach for years – work alongside each other.
While they both retain independent management, the two companies operate as twin production sites that support and complement each other.
Through this synergy, workloads are balanced out, while keeping quality standards consistently high, and ensuring flexibility and competitiveness in the market.
This strong industrial model combines independence and collaboration in an effective manner.
Another distinguishing feature of this new site is the way staff areas have been designed.
In addition to the operational areas, the site includes break and social quarters, such as a spacious and modern refreshment area, functional common areas, and large outdoor green spaces, carefully landscaped and accessible to all employees.

To confirm this long-term vision, an additional 3,000 square meters area, adjacent to the current site, is already being planned for future development. This planned expansion will further boost the production capacity in the coming years, along the path of growth and innovation already underway.
